I wanted to feature my first ever illustrated book as I feel its all part of the process.
I was commissioned to Illustrate a wonderful children's book about a little girl who creates adventures with her best friend Sammy.
I was first given the script and then went through a process of sketching up characters from the brief descriptions given.
Together we picked them apart to create the perfect characters and one by one the hand drawn characters came to life.

My style has changed quite a bit since this first publication however I still love the loose watercolour style used here.
